Walla Walla Corn Maze

The eleventh annual corn maze is now open. This has been a family favorite of ours for several years. Get lost, get found, see who can finish first, or plod along together. Bring your flashlight and/or glow sticks if you’ll be there after dark. It’s a different design every year and they change it up every couple of weeks. Your progress landmarks are under the bridge, over the bridge, over the tunnel and through the tunnel, though not necessarily in that order. It usually takes us around an hour. There’s little to no wireless coverage so don’t expect to rely on your phone, though I always enjoy turning on my GPS app to see the virtual “breadcrumb” trail after we finish. I try not to peek at it much, but if you get hopelessly lost it can help you know whether you’re backtracking or covering new ground.

The admission fee is daily so you can go again and again until closing if you want. They also have corn cannons now if you want to try some target practice as well. The last two weekends in October are scary for Halloween; parental discretion is required for kids under 12.
